Canva launches Whiteboards, allowing teams to collaborate on an infinite canvas

The online graphic designing tool Canva officially launched its new product, Whiteboards. It is Canva’s new way to let teams collaborate so users can seamlessly organize their ideas.

The new Canva Whiteboards is also free of use on the web, desktop, and mobile. What’s distinctive about Whiteboards vs other usual Canva features is that Canva Whiteboards can be scaled, it’s like an endless canvas or infinite canvas without any borders, and this surely promotes better collaboration.

“After more than a year of development, we’re excited to launch Canva Whiteboards to the world – bringing the power our community knows and loves about Canva and enabling them to collaborate with their team on an infinite canvas,” said Melanie Perkins, CEO, and co-founder of Canva. “In this day and age with teams working worlds apart, we believe the right visual communication tools will not only help teams come together with ease but will also fuel greater collaboration and productivity in the workplace. This is at the heart of Whiteboards, and we’re excited to see the magic it will unlock for our community around the world.”

Canva Whiteboards is best used for workshopping projects, project planning, and brainstorming and it’ll let users map out their ideas in a simple but interactive way with the help of Canva Editor.

It was also unveiled last July 18, 2022, that Canva will have a new paid subscription called Canva for Teams. Canva for teams will cater from the smallest group to the largest enterprise-scale team. All features of Canva Pro and other exclusive features of Canva for Enterprise are now all in Canva for Teams. Canva Pro is still existing but it’ll be a paid subscription only for solo users.

“We are happy to unveil both Canva Whiteboards and Canva for Teams in the Philippines as we continue to empower content creators, negosyantes, and teams of all sizes to collaborate at scale, wherever they may be. With Filipinos going digital now more than ever, Canva Whiteboards will be instrumental in bringing any team’s ideas to life while the introduction of Canva for Teams will empower businesses with an all-in-one design tool they need in creating impactful content,” said Yani Hornilla- Donato, Country Manager of Canva Philippines.
