CES 2025: LG announces 2025 OLED evo TV lineup with ‘AI personalization’

LG unveiled its 2025 OLED evo lineup at CES, introducing a range of high-end TVs, including the world’s first true wireless OLED model, the OLED evo M5 and OLED evo G5 models.

At their core is LG’s upgraded α (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen 2, bringing enhanced picture quality with improved brightness, contrast, and color accuracy.

A key feature of the 2025 OLED evo TVs is the upgraded Brightness Booster Ultimate, which significantly boosts brightness three times higher than standard OLEDs. This resulting in better detail and more vibrant images, even in bright environments.

Additionally, UL Solutions have verified these panels for “Perfect Black” and “Perfect Color,” and are certified by Intertek for 100% color fidelity.

TÜV Rheinland has also verified their rapid brightness and color temperature stabilization.

For film enthusiasts, the 2025 models include Filmmaker Mode with Ambient Light Compensation, which automatically adjusts picture settings to maintain the filmmaker’s original intent, adapting to varying lighting conditions.

On the gaming front, LG is introducing the first 4K OLED TV with a 165Hz Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), with certifications from both NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium. The new OLED evo TVs also hold VESA’s ClearMR 10000 certification, ensuring smooth motion during fast-paced gaming.

The new OLED evo TVs feature AI-powered picture and sound processing, enhancing visuals and audio through deep learning algorithms.

AI Picture/Sound Wizard customizes the viewing and listening experience according to user preferences, analyzing billions of images and sound profiles for a personalized entertainment setup.

The integration of LG’s AI Remote allows for a seamless, hands-free experience, offering personalized content recommendations and voice-activated profile switching.

LG’s webOS interface has been updated for faster navigation, with improved personalization and multi-platform integration. The company has also introduced a new wireless audio and video system, available in the M5 series, which allows for 4K streaming at 144Hz without any loss in quality or latency.

With recognition at CES for its innovations, LG’s 2025 OLED evo models are shaping up to bring top-tier performance, from cinema-quality visuals to cutting-edge gaming features, while maintaining a focus on personalized, AI-driven user experiences.
