CM to unveil their first quad-core device

In recent times, Cherry Mobile has sent an invitation to the members of press and bloggers to attend a launching event that will take place this coming week. But we have a hint that it’s not going to be just an ordinary product launch as suggested by the invite’s slogan “It’s Time to Go Four Times Faster”.

As you can see, the image doesn’t reveal too much of detail of what exactly Cherry Mobile has in store for us. But from the looks of it, it seems that we may have an upcoming Nexus 7 competitor in our hands.

Nothing is certain at this point. Fortunately, we have to wait too long until we found out what device we can expect from the local company.

  1. Go four times faster……with the same amount of RAM at 512mb. LOL

  2. They should go with 2GB or 3GB to compete with the upcoming 2nd generation of ASUS Google Nexus 7 with 8MP or 13MP Rear Camera and 5MP Front Camera and 1080 HD VIDEO Recording.

    • Correction that should be 2GB or 3GB RAM. Can cherry maybe use NVDIA Tegra 4 Processor and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 this time?

  3. bka ang gagamitin na nila latest ng mediatekk na quadcore… 1gb ram ftw! magkano kaya?!

  4. four times the waiting time including tech support

  5. CM has always been known to be a “pang-masa” brand I don’t really expect high end components whatever quad core device they’ll be shelling out in the near future (regardless of our endless wishlist of top notch specs for the perfect phone/tablet).

  6. Cgurado ako maganda yan,
CM Titan TV very good na specs at 7k
    MTK6577
    1GB ram
    8mp rear cam, 2mp front
    6″
kaya for sure di biro specs nyan…..
    worth the wait cguro yan….
    top that!!!!!

  7. Cgurado ako maganda yan,
CM Titan TV very good na specs
    MTK6577
    1GB ram
    8mp rear cam, 2mp front
    6″
    2500Mah batt
kaya for sure di biro specs nyan…..
    worth the wait cguro yan….

    • Hindi rin. They sacrificed screen resolution. Bumaba to 155ppi. Then naging dual band from being a tri band fone.

  8. With a 512MB RAM, this will call to flop their upcoming product.

They do have to consider the principle of correlation between RAM, CPU,and most especially OS.

  9. This is a tablet like spbx posted above, an ainol venus.

  10. PPI is a bit overrated. The iPad 2 only has a PPI of 132, the iPad Mini, 163. And yet their screens are still pretty good. IMHO, you also have to consider the display technology …
