Dell G Series laptops launched in the Philippines, priced

Dell launched its new G series line of laptops and desktops for gamers. These laptops equipped with a 15.6-inch FHD display, Intel’s 9th generation of mobile processors and NVIDIA’s GTX 16-series and RTX series GPUs.

These new models are made with Magnesium Alloys, have 2 (for the G3 model) or 3 heat pipes (for the G5 and G7 variants) and 2 intake fans that run through the length of the laptop, with exhaust grills on both sides and the back. Dell also included a dedicated Game Shift key that forces fans to run at 100% speed to maintain higher clocks on both the CPU and GPU.

The Alienware Command Center is also included in the new Dell G series laptops. This software allows users to customize lighting effects, power management and thermal control, audio, and content organization.

Dell G3 15 (3590)

Dell’s entry-level gaming laptop comes equipped with either an Intel Core i5 or i7 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050, 1650, or 1660Ti. The G3 should be able to handle casual games, e-sports titles, and some triple-A titles at its native resolution.

Dell G5 15 (5590)

The G5 15 has an IPS panel instead of a WVA one, higher RAM and storage configuration, more ports, higher battery, and up to an NVIDIA RTX 2060. Along with these upgrades, the Dell G5 also has 3 heat pipes for better cooling instead of the G3’s 2 heat pipe configuration.

Dell G7 15 (7590)

The G7 15 can handle games in 1080p, with an IPS display that can go as high as 240hz. It’s also equipped with Intel’s Core i7-9750H and up to an RTX 2070.
