DJI has officially unveiled the newest addition to their Mavic series, the DJI Mavic 3.
The DJI Mavic 3 sports a 20MP 4/3 CMOS camera equipped with a 24mm prime lens and 162mm telephoto lens. In addition, it can support up to 28x hybrid zoom, 12.8 stops of dynamic range, and adjustable apertures of f/2.8 to f/11.
For video resolutions, the new Mavic model can record at a max of 120fps on 4K and 50fps at 5.1K. Furthermore, it also offers an enhanced Mavic 3 Cine edition, which provides Apple ProRes 422 HQ encoding; and a 10-bit D-Log color profile. For storage, it boasts a 1TB SSD capacity.
For battery and range, it can last up to 46 minutes of continuous flight and adopts a 200-meter range. The latter is further enhanced by its omnidirectional obstacle sensor that allows for smart anti-collision.
It also boasts ActiveTrack 5.0, which claims to accurately follow subjects in forward, backward, left, right, and diagonally axis. As for GPS, it touts precision positioning through GLONASS and BeiDou.
The DJI Mavic 3 retails for USD 2,199 and is available for purchase via DJI’s official website.
