Dyson OnTrac headphones now official priced in the Philippines

The Dyson OnTrac, now available in the Philippines for PHP 32,900. Known for its vacuum cleaners and air purifiers, Dyson is now into personal audio, focusing on sound quality, battery life, and comfort.

The OnTrac headphones are rated for up to 55 hours of playback time on a single charge, even with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) turned on. The built-in battery is located in the headband, helping with overall weight balance and wearing comfort.

The OnTrac uses eight microphones that process external sound 384,000 times per second. Dyson says this setup can reduce up to 40 decibels of surrounding noise, making it suitable for travel or working in noisy environments.

The headphones are equipped with 40mm neodymium drivers with a frequency range of 6Hz to 21kHz, which covers deep bass and detailed highs. The speaker units are slightly tilted inside the ear cups to direct sound more accurately toward the ears.

Dyson emphasizes comfort. The ear cushions are made of microfiber and foam, while a multi-pivot gimbal system adjusts to fit different head shapes. The design also reduces pressure on the ears during long listening sessions.

There are two main color options: CNC Copper and Black Nickel. You can mix and match more than 2,000 combinations of ear caps and cushions. The outer caps are made from aluminum and come in either anodized or ceramic finishes, depending on your choice.

Using the MyDyson app, users can adjust EQ settings with a five-band equalizer, choose ANC modes, and quickly switch between Bluetooth devices. The app also provides volume level monitoring, automatic firmware updates, and access to features like source switching and headphone gestures.

The OnTrac also has capacitive sensors that automatically pause audio when the headphones are removed, and dual-beamforming microphones for voice calls. Playback and volume controls are handled through a small joystick on the side.

The Dyson OnTrac headphones are available at dyson.ph 66 and Dyson Demo Stores in SM Mall of Asia, Greenbelt 5, The Podium, One Bonifacio High Street, and SM Cebu.
