Existing SKY Fiber subscribers to receive free speed upgrades

SKY Cable has just announced that existing subscribers of will be receiving permanent speed upgrades for free.

In the announcement, SKY noted that Fiber subscribers who have 8, 16, 32, 64 Mbps bundled with a free HD cable TV will automatically receive a speed upgrade to 15, 30,60, and 120 Mbps. On the other hand, those who have 20, 40, and 100 Mbps Home WiFi plans will get automatically upgraded to 30, 60, and 120 Mbps speeds. For subscribers who are on the SKY Fiber Plan 50 Mbps (PHP 2,499USD 43INR 3,610EUR 41CNY 310/monthly) will get boosted to 75 Mbps, while SKY Fiber Plan 100 Mbps subscribers (PHP 3,499USD 60INR 5,055EUR 57CNY 434/monthly) will get a 150 Mbps upgrade.

SKY Fiber first released its Super Speed plans in early Septembers, with its offers beginning at 5Mbps for PHP 999USD 17INR 1,443EUR 16CNY 124 per month. SKY Fiber is available in Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Baguio, Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, Dumaguete, Davao, General Santos and Zamboanga City.

  1. Good thing it’s not available in my area. I heard a lot of negative feedback about this provider, or else I might have signed up and locked with a contract, leaving me with no choice.

  4. My gosh…this is worst service ever ever ever…I signed up for 25mbps you know what from 9pm to 2am I’m lucky to get 3 Mbps for download and 1mbps for upload speed…my gossssshhhhhh…

    Expect lot of complaint and deal with it..at this time of crisis your not helping those employee whose working at home…your the worst worst worst provider….I hate sky…I hate sky f*** ***

  5. I consider it as the number one of the very poor customer service, keeps ringing and will just giving you the reference number and then after that no more follow ups. Considered that you are a subsidiary of Abs cbn but God the service is unbelievable. I manage to settle the payment on time, and early most of the time to be honest. Tang Ina wala pa ring kwenta ang lakas magbato ng SOA consistenly ha pero ang service intermittent. What the hell is happening?! I really hate to say this but your the worst internet provider Ive had i thought PLdt lang.
