Gamers now use TikTok to promote content

TikTok’s Short-form videos now give gamers a new way to share content.

Anyone is capable of producing creative and entertaining short-form videos on TikTok, gaming included. TikTok incentivizes creators who produce videos, which has extended to the gaming community as well.


Gamers have now been using this format to share content about the games they play and about themselves. Some choose to focus on specific moments, such as an epic montage, or go a different route and produce a series that tells a story.

TikTok creator @MaggieKarp displays her Valorant clutch highlight on the platform. On the other hand, user @ZeDelicious, also jabaits viewers through his teasers and short skits. TikTok identified ZeDelicious’ skit as clever for its use of deceptive storytelling into something funny. What’s more, another creator, @ArcherPerezz, shared his Project Zomboid TikTok series, which also gone viral. These creators are recognized among a few fan favorite game creators on TikTok.

The platform has been a tool for gaming creators to learn something new about various video games and how they are played. The TikTok app is available for download on iOS and Android.
