Globe has announced that it now has 91 tower company (towerco) sites on air since the start of the year to expand coverage and improve services.

As of end-March, 91 towerco sites have started carrying Globe traffic, nearly 57% more than the 58 sites completed in the same period in 2021.
These new towers are powering 16 provinces across the country: La Union and Pangasinan in Northern Luzon; Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga and Tarlac in Central Luzon; Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon in Southern Luzon; Occidental Mindoro in Mimaropa; and Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur and South Cotabato in Mindanao.
Globe says that it has been aggressively expanding its network through partnerships with several tower companies.
“Our infrastructure partnerships are invaluable in our efforts to expand our reach and further boost our service for the benefit of our customers. As more towercos carry our traffic across the country, we will reach our build goal faster, with greater cost-efficiency,” said Joel Agustin, Globe SVP Head of Network Planning and Engineering, Network Technical Group.
“We will continue to work with towercos to bring reliable service and a better experience to our customers,” he said.
