Globe outs new Globe at Home Broadband Plans with trial period

Listen to article

Globe Telecom announced today their new Globe at Home Broadband Plans with “no commitment” trial periods.

New customers will now be able to avail any of Globe’s Go Big plans for Php 499 a month for the first 3 months. They also made the process hassle-free as you only need to present 1-valid ID and no additional documents.

Here are the plans you can choose from:

  • Plan 1299 – up to 5Mbps with 400gb data
  • Plan 1599 – up to 10Mbps with 500gb data
  • Plan 1899 – up to 50Mbps with 600gb data

These plans will come with free subscriptions to Netflix, Disney Channel Apps, and HOOQ. Globe is also giving users a full refund of their modem installation fee after they return the aforementioned equipment, should they choose to terminate their subscription within the first 15 days.

After the trial period, users can either choose to maintain their plan or change to another one. Do note that these offers are only available for DSL/Fiber broadband plans and are still subject to area availability.

You can check for availability and apply here.

@Abe
How about if you have your own modem? Can we use it instead of paying for Globe’s modem?
Also, why are you not writing about Globe’s decision to change their FUP policy (to 256kbps instead of 30%) and cheat their customers? Bakit tahimik kayo? Dahil ba unlimited and mga libreng accounts ninyo sa Globe?

Been using globe for several years now.. And I’m switching to another provider just because of their crappy FUP. The network is a big hunk of a scammer. Never settle what customers should deserve.

Wlang kwenta kausap ang globe. Wag n kaung mapapa uto sa sa mga schemes nila. You’ll end up with broken promises and slow data for the same price. Just like many of us. 30% after capping is now a myth. Trash globe

Do you want to know why they are doing this “no commitment” thing? Because globe is a sham. From their previous “plan 999 with +501 bill protect” they themselves did not “COMMIT” from what they promised. They changed their policy regardless whether you are still under contract or not, and change your bill from whatever they want it. From 1500/month suddenly changing it to 2500/month and they still have the audacity to tell people that they have reserved the right to do so. #nevertrustglobe

The 15-day cut-off is for the modem fee only. No lock-up period for all those who got this promo. They can even downgrade at the 4th month without fees.

After Globe sudden changing its FUP to its dsl subscribers changing it from 30% of subscribed speed to a snail paced 256kbps after data capping. Stay away from GLOBE broadband.

They can change the policy even you did not agree with it and you can’t do anything about it. Their policies are only advantageous to them and not the customers. Fuck you Globe Telecom. Im a loyal customer until you screwed me bigtime! ???

I’m currently capped to 512 kbps from my old plan of 15 mbps. The cap was something around 4mbps before. Now this is BS.
