Globe Telecom warns customers of fake website

Globe Telecom has issued a media advisory advising its customers to stay away from a fake Globe website.

The website mentioned is According to Globe Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications Yoly Crisanto, the said site is “NOT an official Globe online property and is NOT connected with the company.”


Globe is now working with concerned authorities on fraud and trademark infringement to permanently remove this site. They are also advising customers against providing any crowdsourcing information on the fraudulent site, as well as to report any similar attempts of fraud.

    funny, when you access the webshop on the fake website (, it redirects to the correct and official url ( – could this be a marketing strategy of globe to boost traffic to their website? since they have been hiring a lot of online store operations managers the past month. – good one globe!
