GMA Now DTV OTG dongle now official

GMA Network has officially announced the GMA Now DTV OTG dongle for smartphones, letting you watch digital channels on-the-go.

The GMA Now is the mobile version of their GMA Affordabox DTV Receiver. Users can enjoy GMA Videos On-Demand, Groupee Chat, and Interactive Promos. It connects to an Android smartphone (Android 6.0 and later) via micro-USB (comes with a USB-C adapter) and works in tandem with the GMA Now app.

You can watch the following digital TV channels using GMA Now:

• GMA
• GMA News TV
• GMA Heart of Asia
• HallyPop
• Soon: DepEd TV
• other free-to-air channels available in your area

Online interactive features will require an internet connection.

As for coverage areas, the GMA Now is available in portions of Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Pampanga, Cavite, Laguna, Baguio City, Pangasinan, Batangas, Metro Cebu, and Metro Davao. GMA said that it will continue to work to bring GMA’s digital TV signal to other areas.

The GMA Now is now available with an introductory price of PHP 649 at GMA’s official Lazada and Shopee → store.
