GrabCar and Uber will no longer accept bookings without the rider

Listen to article

GrabCar and Uber drivers will cease to accept bookings if the intention is to deliver packages without the riders themselves.

This is due to recent incident that GrabExpress driver opened a package and found ecstacy. Another is that Grab drivers often receive ridiculous requests such as delivering a corpse. And because of this, drivers get bad ratings by refusing. Grab Express drivers are now going to require senders to open package first before delivering to recipient. Senders will also be required to to fill up a form before booking, and if they refuse, the driver can decline the job order.

No good! The sender can put false entries in the forms and bribe the uber/grab driver to deliver drugs.
