HBO Max, HBO’s upcoming streaming service, has announced its subscription details and pricing. The service was first announced in July.
HBO announced that the streaming platform will feature around 10,000 hours worth of content, ranging from HBO titles such as True Blood, Westworld, The Sopranos, to Originals such as the Game of Thrones prequel, a sequel to the Gossip Girl series and more. Non-HBO created content, such as Friends, The Big Bang Theory, The O.C., and others will also be available on the service. Similar to Netflix, users of HBO Max will be able to set up their personal profiles. Apart from that, a “co-viewing” feature will also be available, which is a joint profile for users, giving recommendations based on joint views.
HBO Max will cost USD 14.99 a month and is set to launch in May 2020.
