HP Envy Wood Series unveiled
At Computex 2019, HP unveiled that the Envy lineup of laptops is getting a design refresh with authentic wood paneling, dubbing it as the HP Envy Wood Series.
Featuring the HP Envy 13, HP Envy x360 13, HP Envy x360 15 and the HP Envy 17, the Envy Wood Series will retain the specs of the machines’ original, metal versions but will be accented with an authentic wood inlay. There are three options to choose from, namely Nightfall Black with Natural Walnut, Ceramic White with White Birch, and Natural Silver with Pale Birch.
All laptops in the Envy Wood series will also sport either the next generation Intel Core processors or 2nd Generation AMD Ryzen mobile processors with Radeon Vega Graphics. The HP Envy 13 features a 13-inch screen with choices FHD or UHD IPS display, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the HP Envy 17 has a 170nich screen with choices of FHD or UHD display, 12GB RAM, and 1TB of storage. On the other hand, the HP Envy 360 laptops are 2-in-1 convertibles, with screen choices measuring of 13 inches or 15 inches. The Envy x360 13 has 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, while the Envy x360 15 has up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
HP has not yet disclosed the pricing of the Envy Wood Series. As for availability, HP is aiming to release the lineup by the latter half of 2019.
