HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro Plus now official: three 48MP lenses, satellite connectivity

A week after the unveiling of the Mate 60 Series, the brand launches a Plus variant—the HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro Plus.

It’s basically the Pro version but with more spacious RAM and three 48-megapixel rear cameras. And it’s even capable of texts and calls via satellite communication.

Huawei has been coy about the chipset powering their latest Mate lineup, leaving many speculating about whether it could be a new Kirin chipset. However, the Chinese brand has yet to confirm any details.

Despite that, all other specs are now up on their website.

As of now, the price of the new variant remains a mystery, adding to the suspense around the device’s chipset. Nonetheless, customers in China can already secure their spot by paying a deposit of CNY 1,000PHP 8,061USD 137INR 11,643EUR 131 or around PHP 7,700USD 131INR 11,123EUR 125CNY 956 (direct conversion).
