HUAWEI Mate XT Ultimate global launch confirmed for 2025

The HUAWEI Mate XT Ultimate 12 has been confirmed for a global launch in Q1 2025. The news came after the brand shipped the first batch of units in China last week.

The tri-fold smartphone is expected to be one of the most expensive devices available. Prices also fluctuate between China and other countries, so costs could definitely increase by the time it’s available.

At the time of writing, the HUAWEI Mate XT Ultimate has a starting price of CNY 19,999 (~PHP 158,000). This could definitely balloon to around PHP 167,000 in the Philippines and international markets.

Again, this is first-gen tech. For what HUAWEI has put into the device’s hardware, the pricing is likely justified. The company is paving the way for new tri-fold smartphones to follow suit.

As for the Mate XT Ultimate itself, we’ll have to wait and see. The first three months of 2025 should be observed to see how it fares globally. We’ll update readers should we get news of its arrival in the Philippines.

Communication graduate, closet cynic, and kid at heart. Duane is a rare person to find, quite literally. He often takes to himself but has proven his mettle in tech media with his quick wits. Well, the portfolio of scriptwriting, web content, and public relations help too, we suppose. As a homebody, he often spends his time on the streaming platform Twitch or ‘farming’ gaming clips with friends. He is also an avid fan of round glasses and anything relative to blueberries.
  1. For that price, buy a laptop or something! Besides, spending that much on a device which does not even official support Google is the biggest stupidity one can ever do
