Huawei has introduced the Huawei MatePad Mini to the global market, positioning it as a compact tablet alternative in the small-form segment.

The MatePad Mini was first announced in China alongside the Mate 80 series and has now expanded to international markets. The device comes in Spruce Green and Obsidian Black color options. It measures 198.59 x 127.27 x 5.1mm and weighs 255 grams.

It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, P3 wide color gamut, 1.07 billion colors, and up to 1,800 nits peak brightness. Huawei is also using its PaperMatte display technology, which aims to reduce glare and improve eye comfort through specialized optical coatings.

For cameras, the MatePad Mini includes a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera at the back. A 32MP front camera handles video calls and selfies.

The tablet is equipped with a 6,400mAh battery and supports 66W wired fast charging. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3D heat dissipation system. The device supports Huawei’s M-Pencil Pro and a dedicated folio cover.
