HUAWEI nova Y72 launched in the Philippines

The HUAWEI nova Y72 has just launched in the Philippines, featuring design similarities with the HUAWEI P60 Pro 11.

The HUAWEI nova Y72 is the company’s newest affordable smartphone, featuring a 6.75-inch IPS display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It also runs on the 2.0GHz 14nm Kirin 710A octa-core processor with Mali-G51 MP4 GPU.

For cameras, it sports a sizable 50MP f/1.8 main camera with AF paired with a 2MP f2.4 macro camera. On the front, the nova Y72’s display screen comes with a notch for the 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

Among its other notable features are its improved 6,000mAh battery capacity, 256GB of available storage, and 8GB of RAM. The nova Y72 also comes with a new X button for better accessibility to preferred apps.

The HUAWEI nova Y72 will be available starting February 23, 2024 at all Huawei stores nationwide, including Huawei’s official stores on Lazada → and Shopee →.

The initial price of the device starts at PHP 9,999 with a Leisure Gift Box worth PHP 1,999 inclusive of freebies including Angkas vouchers you can claim on the AppGallery.
