Huawei Watch 3, Watch 3 Pro now official

Huawei has just unveiled the latest Watch 3 series— the Huawei Watch 3 and 3 Pro.

The latest flagship smartwatch series features a 1.43-inch AMOLED HD color screen with 3D curved glass and a stainless steel watch body. The smartwatches can be controlled using the touch-sensitive screen, side button, and fully rotatable crown.

The series debuts with a more expansive selection of watch faces and watch straps that provide options for users to personalize their smartwatch. Both models have 30 pre-installed faces, including animated faces. Moreover, users may also choose from the 1,000+ designs available on the Huawei Watch Face Store. The Huawei Watch 3 comes in three variants: Active, Classic, and Elite Edition. However, the Pro version is available in Classic and Elite Edition.

The Huawei Watch 3 series comes with fitness and health functions as it supports over 100 workout modes. The watch series features heart rate tracking, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracking, and the new temperature sensor. It also supports fall detection and SOS functions so users can monitor and manage their health in real-time.

The Huawei Watch 3 series runs on the latest HarmonyOS 2, which introduces a whole new user interface with a grid launcher app menu.

The series also supports standalone connectivity. By activating the eSIM service on their smartphones, users can share the phone number as well as voice and data plans between their smartphone and smartwatch. Other than that, users can also answer incoming MeeTime calls on either device simply by tapping the notification on the device of their choice.

Users can turn the Huawei Watch 3 series into their personal travel assistant and view taxi information or flight status when traveling. What’s more, the series also comes pre-installed with AppGallery, where users can download third-party apps.

In addition, both models come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Their other features include WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, and 5 ATM water resistance.

The Huawei Watch 3 has a battery life of three days in smart mode and 14 days in ultra-long battery life mode. On the other hand, the Huawei Watch 3 Pro lasts five days in smart mode and 21 days in ultra-long battery life mode.
