Instagram adds Reels and Shop tabs

Instagram adds Reels and Shop tab on its home screen to discover more videos and products on the platform.

The Reels Tab serves as an avenue for content creators to share creative videos with a wider audience. Meanwhile, the Shop Tab connects users to brands, brand ambassadors, and even small businesses. Users may find personalized recommendations, editors’ picks curated by Instagram’s shop channel, shoppable videos, new product collections, and more on the Shop Tab.

Here’s how to use the new Reels and Shop Tabs:

1. Open the Instagram app on your mobile device.
2. Tap the clapperboard icon to open the Reels Tab. For the Shop Tab, tap the shopping bag icon.
3. Users may now watch the content or explore shops on the Reels and Shop Tab.

The feature is currently rolling out on the platform. To enjoy the feature, iOS and Android users should update their Instagram app.
