Meta’s Instagram is now testing out a new feature that locks Reels and can only be viewed through a secret code.
There is now a code system for locked Reels that creators use in Instagram. For those who cannot unlock it, the Reel will appear blurred and have a lock symbol on the user’s profile.
This password-protected Reel can be used by creators and influencers to entice their fans more to interact with their platform and figure out the code. It can also be used for exclusive content if the content creator wishes.
