Foreign consumers have discovered a significant detail on the new iPhone 12 series’ 5G connectivity.
As seen on Apple’s Sales Web (ASW) page, it reveals that the iPhone 12 series does not support 5G connectivity when in a dual-SIM mode. The online document which surfaced online provides answers to the frequently asked questions (FAQs) about the new iPhone 12 series. As mentioned in the document, the iPhone will fall back its connectivity to LTE when in Dual SIM mode. 5G will only resume when an eSIM of a 5G-supported carrier and service plan is used.
The data was shared by user ctthrow1 on Reddit, who has accessed the document that was believed to be intended to be shared for Verizon postpaid subscribers.

Apple has not yet released any other information to confirm the speculations. Meanwhile, GSMArena reported that Apple will address this issue through a software update.
