iQOO is developing a compact 8.35-inch Gaming Tablet

Listen to article

iQOO is reportedly working on a new high-performance compact gaming tablet, with key details recently emerging from tipster Digital Chat Station. Expected to launch in the second half of 2025, this device aims to challenge rivals like the Lenovo Legion Y700 (Gen 4).

The upcoming iQOO tablet is rumored to feature an 8.35-inch custom LCD panel supporting 3K+ resolution and an ultra-high refresh rate, promising an immersive gaming experience. While still in early development with unfinalized hardware, engineering prototypes are considering flagship-level chipsets like the Snapdragon 8 Elite or Dimensity 9400+.

This lightweight gaming flagship tablet is positioned to deliver top-tier performance, though it’s unlikely to feature the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 or Dimensity 9500. Its exact launch alongside the iQOO 15 series or earlier remains uncertain.

Hopefully it will support 5G cellular network connectivity for both voice and data.
