Fast-food chain giant, Jollibee, has introduced new store innovations Jollibots and smart lockers to allow faster transactions and more convenience to customers, as part of its “Alagang Jollibee” service.
Jollibots, which were spotted in Jollibee’s SM Aura branch in BGC during its pilot stage, are the store team’s on-the-ground assistants that dispatch orders straight to customers’ tables. This allows the crew to focus on other important tasks or attend to special requests of customers, especially during peak hours.
Jollibots have now started to serve dine-in customers at Jollibee SM Aura, Taguig, and Jollibee Glorietta, Makati. Soon, they’ll be present at Jollibee SM Seaside Cebu as well.
Smart Lockers, on the other hand, are for the Order & Pick up feature in the Jollibee App. Customers can place their orders via the app and then wait for the store to confirm their transactions and inform them of the smart locker pick-up process. Once in the store, customers can go directly to the smart locker, key in their order number, and the corresponding locker will automatically open.
Smart Lockers are available at Jollibee Angono Bayan, Rizal, Jollibee P. Tuazon, Quezon City, and Jollibee Northbay Boulevard, Navotas.
Other features that Jollibee rolled out are Rider’s Area for riders to wait and sit while waiting for customers’ orders, Al Fresco Dining (Jollibee GMA Cavite), Self-Order Kiosks (now present at 129 stores), dual-lane drive-thru (Jollibee Petron SLEX, Laguna, soon at Jollibee Shell SLEX, Laguna), and food conveyor belts (Petron SLEX, Shell C5 Heritage, Taguig, and Ayala Center Cebu branches).
“Jollibee always aims to spread joy to our customers, whether for dine-in, take-out, drive-thru, or delivery. We continuously innovate our services to deliver a leveled-up customer experience,” said Jollibee Philippines President Ferns Yu, Jr. “We are piloting new innovations and technology in select stores, and are excited to roll them out to more branches in the future.”
