Knowledge Channel renews its partnership with the Philippine Cable and Telecommunications Association to provide learning materials for students who are adapting to distance learning. The initiative aims to benefit more learners as they study at home with the extended reach of Knowledge Channel to more cable-connected homes nationwide, including remote areas with limited to no internet connection.
The renewed partnership will bring Knowledge Channel to as many learners, parents, and teachers as to help them with distance learning. Currently, PCTA has 360 regular members and 32 affiliate members reaching over 75% of cable-connected households.
“My fervent wish is that through this bayanihan effort with cable providers, distance learning will become more accessible, feasible, affordable, and most of all, enjoyable for every Filipino child,” said Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. president and executive director Rina Lopez-Bautista.
PCTA encourages all its cable-operator members not only to include Knowledge Channel in their line-up but also to put the channel in its most affordable packages.
Also present in the memorandum signing was also graced by DepEd Regional Director in Region X Dr. Art Bayocot also attended the memorandum signing of the Knowledge Channel and PCTA.
