League of Legends: Wild Rift to start regional open beta on October 27

Riot Games has recently announced the Regional Open Beta for its latest mobile game, League of Legends: Wild Rift.

Players who are currently in the Regional Closed Beta will be able to have full access to the game starting October 27. This means that those who are living in Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand will be able to download the game on iOS and Android devices. It will also add new players from Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Timor-Leste.

In early December, Riot Games plan to roll out the open beta in Europe, Middle East, North Africa, Oceania, Russia, Taiwan, Turkey, and Vietnam.

Riot will also add some features to the game from October 22. This includes the arrival of Lee Sin, linking of Riot Games account, and earning rewards for South Korea and Japan players.

To prepare for its final roll-out, Riot will close its TestFlight access for iOS. To save their progress and inventory from the closed beta, iPhone users may log in using the same Riot Games account they previously used on October 27, 2020. It is highly recommended to fully uninstall the TestFlight version of the game before installing it from the App Store.

Android users, on the other hand, will be able to normally play the game on October 27, 2020. All progress and inventory from the closed beta will carry over to the open beta. Those who uninstalled the game after October 22 will not be able to reinstall it until the start of the open beta. Should they received a closed beta invite and they have not yet installed the game, they will not be able to install until the start of the open beta.
