Lenovo announces IdeaPad Duet Chromebook, a detachable 2-in-1 Chromebook




At CES2020, Lenovo has announced the IdeaPad Duet Chromebook, a 2-in-1 Chromebook with a detachable keyboard.

The IdeaPad Duet Chromebook sports an FHD IPS display capable of delivering 400 nits of brightness with a 70% NTSC gamut coverage. It has 10-point touch functionality and a fabric texture stand cover to prop it up when using the device in Chromebook mode.

Under the hood, the IdeaPad Duet Chromebook sports a MediaTek Helio P60T octa-core CPU paired with an ARM G72 MP3 800 GHz GPU. It’s equipped with 4GB LPDR4X RAM with a choice of either 64GB or 128GB storage. The IdeaPad Duet Chromebook can connect wirelessly via 2×2 WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2.

For audio, there are dual speakers and dual microphones built-in the device for media consumption and VoIP calls. The IdeaPad Duet Chromebook also features an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. It’s also equipped with an ALS sensor, G-Sensor, and Gyroscope.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Duet Chromebook is expected to be available starting May 2020, with a starting price of USD 279.99.
