At CES 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Lenovo announced the newest gaming laptops powered by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX series graphics.

Lenovo introduced the newest iterations to their Legion laptops, the Y540 and the Y740. The latter is available in 15.6″ and 17.3″ models with both running on 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, 32GB DDR4 2666Mhz memory, CORSAIR iCue RGB backlit keyboard, and Dolby Atmos Speaker System with Dolby Sound Radar. The company stated that both of the gaming laptops have a battery life that can last up to six hours.

The Legion Y740 comes with a 144Hz refresh rate for all of its variants, NVIDIA G-SYNC support, and an option for a GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q or RTX 2080 Max-Q GPU.

The Legion Y540, on the other hand, comes in a 15″ model with different display varying from a 60Hz refresh rate to 144Hz. It features an 8th-Gen Intel Core i5/i7 processor, NVIDIA RTX 2060 GPU, and Dolby Atmos speakers powered by Harman Kardon.

Both the Y740 and Y540 laptops feature the Lenovo Legion Coldfront dual-fan thermal layout which provides a low thermal output.
