Lenovo IdeaPad 5i Chromebook and 2nd Gen Tab P11 & P11 Pro now official

Lenovo has just announced their next-gen Lenovo Tab P11 Series tablets and their first ever 16-inch Chromebook, the Lenovo Ideapad 5i Chromebook.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 5i Chromebook is the first 16-inch Chromebook laptop in their portfolio. It features up to a 2.5K 16:10 display with a 120hz refresh rate for a smoother viewing experience.

It is also said to have up to 12 hours of battery life, an FHD camera with a physical camera shutter, and two user-facing speakers. Underneath, it packs in up to the latest 12th Gen Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage.

The new Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) has an 11.2-inch OLED touch display that features a 120Hz refresh rate, 360hz touch sampling rate, and a max screen brightness of 600 nits. It also comes with a full-size keyboard with a built-in trackpad.

It packs in the MediaTek Kompanio 1300T, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It also has support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, Dolby Atmos, and battery life up to 14 hours.

The Lenovo Tab P11 (2nd Gen) on the other hand has a slightly larger 11.5-inch LCD display that also supports up to a 120hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek G99 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and also features a four-speaker system with Dolby Atmos.

Optional accessories for the Tab P11 Pro include the Lenovo Precision Pen 3 and Folio Case. While the Tab P11 has the optional Keyboard pack, Lenovo Precision Pen 2, Smart Charging Station 2, and Folio Case with a built-in kickstand and pen holder.

Both the Tab P11 & P11 Pro will also be outfitted with Lenovo Freestyle, an app that allows users to link their android tablets and their Lenovo Windows PC to have the tablet used as a secondary display or a wireless touch screen for their laptop.

Pricing & Availability

The Lenovo IdeaPad 5i Chromebook and Tab P11 Pro are said to be available starting September 2022 while the Lenovo Tab P11 is expected to be made available by November 2022. Local pricing and availability in the Philippines are yet to be announced.
