Lenovo launches a retro-inspired SSD, the XS720

Lenovo has expanded its Xiaoxin lineup with the introduction of the XS720, a compact solid-state flash drive that combines retro-inspired design with high-performance storage capabilities.

Storage Capacities and Pricing

The XS720 is available in multiple storage options:

256GB

512GB

1TB

2TB (upcoming)

Pricing starts at 249 yuan (PHP 1,965.96) for the 256GB model and goes up to 599 yuan (PHP 4,729.37) for the 1TB variant.

Performance and Compatibility

Equipped with USB 3.2 Gen2 support, the XS720 delivers impressive transfer speeds:

Read Speeds: Up to 1040MB/s

Write Speeds: Up to 1000MB/s

This performance ensures efficient handling of large files, such as 4K videos and extensive photo libraries. The dual-interface design integrates both USB-C and USB-A connectors within a push-pull sliding mechanism, enhancing compatibility across various devices without the need for adapters. The XS720 is compatible with multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS 15/16, and HarmonyOS.

XS720 features a zinc alloy chassis with a painted metallic finish, offering a premium and rugged feel. Its design is dustproof, splash-resistant, pressure-resistant, and shock-resistant, having undergone over 80 hours of durability testing. Weighing under 50 grams and measuring 77.8mm in length, it is portable and can easily attach to a keychain. The device’s retro-inspired aesthetic includes a soft pastel blend of pink, red, and blue, resembling a classic game controller with a D-pad, central On-Off-On toggle switch, and A/B buttons.

Lenovo backs the XS720 with a three-year warranty, providing users with long-term assurance. The 2TB model is expected to be available soon, further expanding the storage options for users.

With its blend of nostalgic design and modern performance, the Lenovo XS720 SSD flash drive offers a reliable and stylish solution for on-the-go storage needs.
