Lenovo ThinkPad T495, T495s, X395 with AMD Ryzen 7 Pro now official

Lenovo has launched three new ThinkPad laptops powered by the new AMD Ryzen Pro processors — the ThinkPad T495, T495s, and X395.

One of Lenovo’s main features on the three laptops is privacy. The ThinkStutter is a webcam privacy cover while PrivacyGuard (for T495s and X395) prevents the display from being seen by people nearby.

The ThinkPad T495 comes with four display variants with the same 14-inch screen — HD/FHD IPS/FHD IPS On-Cell Touch/Low Power FHD IPS. It sports a 2nd-Gen AMD Ryzen Pro processor, Integrated AMD Radeon Vega Graphics, up to 32GB of RAM, up to 1TB PCIe + 256GB SATA SSD, a 720p HD + hybrid IR camera w/ ThinkStutter, and a USB Type-C AC adapter that supports RapidCharge technology.

The ThinkPad T495s also has four 14-inch display-variants — FHD IPS/FHD IPS On-Cell Touch/FHD IPS Low Power/FHD IPS PrivacyGuard. It comes with almost the same specs except for the 720p HD + optional IR camera with ThinkShutter, up to 1TB PCIe SSD, and the 57Whr battery.

Lastly, the ThinkPad X395 carries four 13.3-inch display-variants — HD TN/FHD IPS/FHD IPS On-Cell Touch/ FHD IPS PrivacyGuard. It sports a 2nd-Gen AMD Ryzen Pro processor, Integrated AMD Radeon Vega Graphics, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB PCIe or 256GB SATA SSD, 720p HD webcam with ThinkShutter or 720pHD + IR camera with ThinkShutter, and 48Whr battery.

The ThinkPad T495 will be available starting in May 2019 while the ThinkPad T495s and X395 are set to be available on June 2019.
