Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition Launched in China with PCIe 5.0 SSD

Lenovo has launched the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition in China, unveiled back in September during the IFA 2024, featuring PCIe 5.0 SSD technology for faster data transfer speeds.

The PCIe 5.0 SSD in the Aura Edition, the SK hynix PCB01, offers read speeds of up to 14,000 MB/s and write speeds up to 12,000 MB/s.

Now to handle potential heat issues, Lenovo includes a dedicated heatsink to maintain stable performance. Storage options include 1TB and 2TB capacities.

The laptop is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 7 258V processor, 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and a 57Wh battery.

It features a 14-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2880×1800, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Its magnesium alloy body keeps it lightweight at 986g and 14.37mm thick.

Connectivity options include dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and an audio jack. Security features include a physical camera shutter, fingerprint reader, and facial recognition.

Starting at CNY 15,999 (~PHP 127,000) for the 1TB model, the 2TB version is priced at CNY 17,999 (~PHP 143,000).
