Lenovo unveils Legion G7 gaming controller for smartphones and tablets

Lenovo has just revealed the Legion G7 gaming controller for smartphones and tablets.

The Lenovo Legion G7 has a built-in USB-C plug to insert itself to any smartphone or tablet. Lenovo states that this is to ensure zero latency and can be moved to align with the device.

Hall effect joysticks are featured here to ensure the controller’s precision, lifespan and reduce stick drift. The controller’s cover can be interchanged since it has replaceable magnetic covers. There are also two custom buttons at the back of the device.

A USB-C port is located at the bottom of the Legion G7 so it can also charge the smartphone or tablet while it is being used. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack for users to plug in their earphones.

The Lenovo Legion G7 is priced at CNY 499 or about PHP 3,997.14. A global launch has yet to be announced.
