LG has unveiled the UltraGear evo GX9, the brand’s new OLED gaming monitor.
The LG UltraGear evo GX9, or the 39GX950B OLED monitor, is the first 39-inch gaming monitor to offer a 5K2K resolution of 5120 × 2160.
The monitor supports a 165Hz refresh rate at full resolution and up to 330Hz in WFHD mode. There is also a 0.03ms response time.
It features AI upscaling which lets lower-resolution content to be enhanced to 5K2K without requiring a GPU upgrade.
LG says the display reaches up to 1500 nits peak brightness and supports DisplayHDR True Black 500. It also includes AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility.
The UltraGear evo GX9 was recognized as a CES 2026 Innovation Awards Honoree.
