Logitech, one of the world’s leading personal peripherals provider, is set to purchase ASTRO for $85 million and is expected to close the deal in early August.
Ujesh Desai, vice president and general manager of Logitech, said that acquiring ASTRO will be a perfect compliment for Logitech G’s, gaming line of Logitech, PC gaming.
With the addition of ASTRO, Logitech will also be investing in the console gaming market in order for them to accelerate their long-term growth in the gaming business. Logitech is also expecting in Fiscal Year 2018 that it will add two more points in the top line with the acquisition of ASTRO.
ASTRO Gaming is best known for producing quality gaming headsets such as the A40 and A50 headsets which are designed for pro gamers.
