The next iteration of refreshed MacBook Pro has now been spotted on Geekbench with it listing some key specifications.
Apple introduced the M2 back in June with the refreshed 13-inch MacBook Pro and new MacBook Air. The company is yet to release the Pro and Max variants of the M2 chip.
The listing specifies the presence of a 12-core processor with a 3.54GHz frequency and is equipped with a 128KB L1 instruction cache, 64KB L1 data cache, and 4MB L2 cache. The current Apple M1 Max chip offers a 10-core CPU.
Furthermore, the listing is tagged as “Mac14,6″ possibly hinting that it could be the next generation of MacBook Pro 14″ and 16”.

The Mac model on the listing says that it packs in 96GB of RAM. The current generation MacBook Pro with M1 Max only offers up to a 64GB memory option.
The model is also said to be running on macOS 13.2.
As per the listing, the MacBook Pro with M2 Max chip scores 1,853 points in single-core and 13,855 points in multi-core testing on Geekbench 5.
