It seems like Senator Manny Pacquiao has entered the cryptocurrency sphere as it has been reported that he is now an investor in blockchain firm Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX).
GCOX is a Singapore start up and is said to be the “world’s first cryptocurrency exchange that helps celebrities create, list and trade their own cryptocurrencies, known as Celebrity Tokens”. It also allows access to the stars, such as meet and greets, and live streaming through a service dubbed Celeb-Connect.
There’s also Celeb-Charity that allows fans to donate to celebrities’ causes using the digital coin. The celebrity’s popularity is determined by cryptocurrency value through “open market forces”.
As reported by Finance Magnates, Pacquiao will launch his personal Celebrity Token, the PAC Coin. With this, fans will be able to gain access to exclusive live streams by the senator, including Team Pacquiao merchandise.
