Meta Platforms Inc. has started testing a new paid feature on Instagram called “Instagram Plus,” which costs around P65 per month and comes with a free one-month trial.

The new subscription gives users extra tools for Stories. These include creating different audiences for stories, searching viewer lists, and previewing stories before posting. Users can also extend how long their stories stay online.
Instagram Plus also lets users view stories without the owner knowing and track how many times their own stories are rewatched. Other features include sending “super hearts” and highlighting selected stories.
Meta has not confirmed where the feature is officially available. However, reports say it is currently being tested in countries like Mexico, Japan, and the Philippines.
The new feature aims to give users more control over how they share and view content on the app. It also shows Meta’s plan to add more paid services to its platforms.
More details about its full rollout and availability are expected once testing is complete.
