MiCab in Manila to launch next month

MiCab, a Visayas-based taxi-hailing app, will finally pave its way in Metro Manila next month.
Last month, MiCab has partnered with PNTOA (Philippine National Taxi Operators Association) and ATOMM (Association of Taxi Operations in Metro Manila) to use the app for its growing base of riders. And now, PNTOA will officially launch the MiCab app next month. The app functions the same way Grab and Uber do, wherein commuters may book rides.

However, commuters may not be able to see the exact cost of their total fare (fixed pricing) as Atty. Bong Suntay, president of PNTOA, is still seeking for the government’s permission to use the said pricing scheme.

Note: ‘MyCab’ instead of ‘Micab’ is written in the source.

  1. “However, commuters may not be able to see the exact cost of their total fare (fixed pricing)”

Tsaka taxi based ang micab di ba?

  2. Taxi drivers? No thanks! Not those thieves again.

  4. for real????? hahaha… You could not see how much the taxi fare is until you’ve reached your destination?? hahahaha.. so how is this any different from riding a regular taxi?? pero sigurado papabor dito LTFRB at DOLE.. haha

    • Malamang pabor sila dito. Now we know why…

Nasa same sentence na di nyo pa tinapos.

  6. I prefer Grab :D

The Grab Car Service is always good to me and my Family :)
