The smartphone will run on Android 15 out of the box and will receive two major OS upgrades along with four years of security updates.

The Moto G86 5G will sport a dual-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens that also supports macro photography. On the front, a 32MP camera will handle selfies and video calls.

Depending on the market, the Moto G86 5G will be available in two battery configurations: a 5,200mAh variant measuring 7.87mm in thickness and weighing 185 grams, and a larger 6,720mAh model with an 8.65mm thickness and a weight of 198 grams. Both versions will support 33W fast charging.
