While Microsoft may be preparing for a huge OS update for this month, the Redmond giant is also testing another software in the form of the next-generation Microsoft Office.
“Office 16”, in its technical preview, shall feature a darker ‘black’ theme alongside the current Light Gray, Dark Gray, and White colors. Microsoft says it is the number one requested feature since releasing Office 2013.
It will also bring back Clippy, sans the character and animation, in a feature called Tell Me. This new addition hails from the Office Online apps, and will guide users with questions that they may encounter when using the programs.
Other new features incluse automatic image rotation based on camera metadata and improvements to Outlook’s sync options.
