HUAWEI MatePad 12 X (2026) Review
Nintendo is set to launch an Animal Crossing: New Horizons themed Nintendo Switch, just ahead of the game’s launch date.
The special edition Switch takes inspiration from the upcoming Animal Crossing: New Horizons, with its Joy-Con controllers in the colors of pastel green and blue upfront and white on the rear, while its wrist straps also take on the same color as the controller.
The back of the Switch unit sports a pattern that features silhouettes of characters, items, plants, and the like from the game. Not only that, but the Switch dock also gets adorned with an Animal Crossing theme, featuring Tom Nook and the twin Nooklings Timmy and Tommy.
The Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing: New Horizons edition will launch on March 13, while the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game is set to launch on March 20. The special edition Switch is currently up for pre-order in the United States. Local retailers have not yet announced any pre-order for the Animal Crossing edition Switch, but we’ll be on the lookout for that.
