NOW corp is expanding its broadband services in Metro Manila which offers reliable Fiber internet connections in the area.
Their focus is establishing a reliable internet connection to residents with gated villages via its Fiber-in-the-Air technology or also known as “Fiber Air” for homes.
Residential areas such as Forbes Park, Corinthian Gardens, Valle Verde, Wack-Wack, Bel-Air, and Urdaneta are included in their first phase of expanding their broadband services. The next phase will include “tertiary areas” such as communities in Pasay and Tondo where the less affluent but solid market base is settled in. The company’s plan involves offering Fiber Air directly to homes that could be accessed by residents who live within 300 meters.
This plan is part of NOW’s five-year plan that would possibly project a net income of Php5.5 billion from its broadband business in 2022. The said corporation has been in the broadband business for a year now. Last year, they have made a deal with ETON Properties to provide broadband services for its 12-hectare BPO hub in ETON Centris, Quezon City.
