OnePlus 5, 5T gets Android Pie

OnePlus has announced that the Android 9 Pie will be rolling out to the OnePlus 5 and 5T phones very soon.

Here are the changes and improvements that the update will bring:

• Updated system to Android 9 Pie
• Brand new UI for Android Pie
• Brand new navigation gestures (Available for OnePlus 5T only)
• Updated Android security patch to 2018.12
• Other new features and system improvements
• Gaming mode 3.0
• Added text notification mode
• Added notification for 3rd party calls
• New Do Not Disturb (DND) mode with adjustable settings
• Integrated Google Lens mode

The Android 9 Pie update is rolling out to a small number of users as of the moment but will be available to more users in a few days. Users can also give feedback here and report bugs on the update if there are any.
