Ookla outs Speedtest Global Index for November 2017

Ookla has released their Speedtest Global Index for November 2017, comparing the internet speed data from around the world, including the Philippines.

According to the index, the Philippines has an average speed of 12.35 Mbps download (12.33 Mbps, October 2017) and 5.88 Mbps upload for Mobile. While Fixed Broadband has an average speed of 14.42 Mbps download (13.13 Mbps, October 2017) and 12.14 Mbps upload.

While average download speeds in November 2017 have slightly improved compared to October 2017, it is still below the Global Average of 20.28 Mbps download and 8.65 Mbps upload for Mobile, and 40.11 Mbps download and 19.96 Mbps upload for Fixed Broadband. This puts the Philippines at the 91st spot for Mobile and Fixed Broadband.
