OPPO Reno12 F 5G to launch in PH August 20

Oppo has announced the launch date for its Reno12 F 5G, scheduled for next week on August 20th. The company calls it yet another AI phone, bringing some AI features to the table at a more accessible price point.

Besides the design change, the new model equips a different chip, the Dimensity 6300. This is a slight downgrade from the more powerful Dimensity 7050 found on the Reno11 F 5G 49. For reference, the latter boasts higher clock speeds at 2.6GHz compared to the former’s 2.4GHz.

The main shooter is also reduced to 50-megapixel (from 64-megapixel), and it gets a slower wired charging rate at 45W (previously, 67W). With these cutbacks in specifications, it could potentially lower the price from its predecessor that had an SRP of PHP 18,999USD 324INR 27,446EUR 308CNY 2,358.
