OPPO Reno13 Pro and OPPO Reno13 debut in China

The OPPO Reno13 Pro and base OPPO Reno13 have been launched, making their debut in China. The two devices are identical, save for an extra sensor and higher battery capacity for the Pro variant.

The OPPO Reno13 Pro has a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate peaking at 120Hz. Under the hood, it’s powered by a Dimensity 8350 chipset.

This is basically a modified Dimensity 8300, made specifically for this OPPO line.

Storage configurations start with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Since the launch was in China, the highest configuration with 1TB of storage should be exclusive to the country. Of course, we’ll update readers should this be subject to change.

It sports a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and an 8-megapixel ultra wide at the rear. At the front, it’s equipped with a 50-megapixel shooter as well.

Other specs include an IP69 rating, a 5,800mAh battery, 80W of wired fast charging and 50W of wireless charging. Both devices also feature the OPPO X1 chip for improving wireless connectivity.

The OPPO Reno13 Pro is currently available in China starting at CNY 3,399 (~PHP 27,000) with 12GB/256GB.

Meanwhile, the base OPPO Reno13 is lighter, has a smaller display panel, and a smaller battery capacity. In detail, it has a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution capping at 120Hz refresh rate.

It’s powered by the same Dimensity 8350 with the same storage configurations. It also packs a 5,600mAh battery with the same charging technology as well.

The main difference between the two devices is that this one cuts down on one camera. This device only has a 50-megapixel main paired with the 8-megapixel ultra wide at the rear. Notably though, it still has the same 50-megapixel selfie shooter.

The OPPO Reno13 starts at CNY 2,699 (~PHP 22,000) with 12GB/256GB. We expect the line to arrive in the Philippines early next year. Again, storage configurations may look different by the time the line has its global launch.
