Oppo is set a date to unveil its newest smartwatch, the Oppo Watch X on February 29th at an event in Malaysia.
Leaked renders and certifications have given us an idea of what to expect. The Watch X will look very similar to the recently teased OnePlus Watch 2 with a 1.43-inch OLED display. It is speculated to pack the same Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip and run Wear OS 4.
While in terms of Connectivity it will include 4G support via an eSIM, according to certifications. Then a 500mAh battery.In terms of color it will be available in Platinum Black and Mars Brown.
Not much else is has been revealed about the Watch X’s specs yet but the launch is only a week away so we just have to wait. The announcement date also positions Oppo to launch its new Wear OS competitor around the same time as the OnePlus Watch 2 unveiling. Stay tuned for full details on the Oppo Watch X next Friday.
