OnePlus on Thursday has officially announced that its latest OxygenOS 14 will launch globally on September 25, 2023. It will be one of the first operating systems released that is based on Android 14, bringing new features and enhanced user experiences.
“Powered by OnePlus’ latest innovations, OxygenOS 14 will be the most intelligent and intuitive software product in OnePlus’ history,” stated Kinder Liu, President and COO of OnePlus.
Its proprietary performance platform, the Trinity Engine, is at the heart of the update. Through it, OnePlus combines six innovative technologies, including CPU, RAM, and ROM vitalization, HyperBoost, HyperTouch, and HyperRendering.
OnePlus’ Trinity Engine tackles industry-wide challenges by significantly improving power consumption efficiency, multi-tasking capability, and delivering a fast and smooth experience that lasts.
As OxygenOS now runs on the same codebase as Oppo’s ColorOS, we can expect a sprinkle of similarities between the two. So, keep your eyes peeled for updates to come!
